Keeping up its tradition of very popular days out by train, the Bedford to Bletchley Rail Users Association have announced their trip for this year down to East Grinstead, and onwards to the Bluebell Railway. Here, you can take a ride on the extended steam railway to Sheffield Park, and if you want have a look at Sheffield Park Gardens.
This years trip is taking place on Saturday 15th June. The reason why we are letting you know about this now is because these days out are booked up well in advance, so let BBRUA know you are interested. All the contact details you need are on their website.
Also, while we have your attention, the BBRUA AGM is coming up on Thursday 4th April, at 7:15pm at Lidlington Village Hall. As well as us being there, so will representatives from London Midland, and also a special guest speaker from the East-West Rail Consortium. They will be giving the latest info the plans for the Western Section, so it really is a must attend. Everyone is free to attend, and Lidlington Village Hall is just a short walk from Lidlington station.
