Bedford International Athletics Stadium
If you are interested in Track and Field
events, we can think of no better destination than the Bedford
International Athletics Stadium. The stadium, considered to be one
of the finest in the country, has undergone significant development
in recent years, improving indoor and outdoor facilities. As well
as being host to athletics events, and facilities being available
to the public, several athletics clubs are based here, including
Paula Radcliffe's club Bedford and County AC.

2. Plan your train journey and buy tickets – You can
check the train times and buy tickets using the Quick Times and
Tickets box to the right. The nearest station is Bedford St Johns
(walk and cycle).
3. Plan your onward journey from the station –
Directions by foot and cycle are given below.
Leave the station via the town centre exit. Walk across the car
park, then head left along Melbourne Street. At the end of the
road, head left up Kingsway. Cross over at the traffic lights, and
head right down Cauldwell Street. At the end of the road, cross
over the traffic lights, and head left up St Mary's Street. Take
the first right after the bridge, and head along The Embankment. At
the end of the road, follow the path to the left. At the
roundabout, walk across the roundabout onto Barkers Lane. The
athletics stadium is on your left.

Stantonbury Stadium
At the
other end of the line is the Stantonbury Stadium, home to Milton
Keynes Athletic Club. The stadium contains full outdoor facilities,
and with the Athletic Club winning prestigious honours in recent
years, you can be assured of a good time whether you take part or
are just watching.
