Leisure Centres


If you are not sure where to go to take part in your particular sport, then your local leisure centre is the way to go. The majority of centres offer something for all sports, ranging from all-purpose sports halls, to gyms, right through bowls halls. Some do require you to be a member before using their facilities. Below are the main leisure centres that can be accessed from the Marston Vale Line.

Bletchley Leisure Centre


Bletchley Leisure CentreThe nearest to the line is the Bletchley Leisure Centre. Centred in the heart of the Bletchley community, this local Leisure Centre offers something for everyone. With a range of different activities, you should find something for you. Facilities range from 5-a-side football, to Squash Courts, to Indoor Bowls.

1. Call the Leisure Centre to check facilities and opening times - 01908 377251
2. Plan your train journey and buy tickets – You can check the train times and buy tickets using the Quick Times and Tickets box to the right. The nearest station is Fenny Stratford (walk and cycle).
3. Plan your onward journey from the station – Directions on foot and bicycle are given below.

Leave the station via the right hand exit*. Head over the roundabout, and down Victoria Road. Take the second right, and walk along Victoria Road. At the end of the road, head left, then head left again onto Princes Way. The leisure centre is on the left ahead of you.

* = For step-free access, use the left hand exit, then head right onto Simpson Road, then right at the top of the road along Watling Street.

Bunyan Sports Centre


An alternative venue is the Bunyan Sports Centre in Bedford. The Bunyan Sports Centre is a multi-purpose centre situated on the outskirts of Bedford. Like the centre in Bletchley, the centre offers a wide variety of sporting facilities. Facilities range from 5-a-side football, to Badminton, to Table Tennis.
