Rugby

Rugby has a very strong history in the Marston Vale, particularly in the Bedford area. The numerous private schools in the town have generally favoured rugby over its association counterpart, with Union being the rugby of choice.

Bedford Blues

Bedford BluesThe premier rugby attraction in the Marston Vale is Bedford Blues Rugby Club. Currently residing in National League One (the Rugby equivalent of football's the Championship), and with many of today's Rugby talents starting out at Goldington Road, you can be assured of some high quality rugby being played. As well as the first team, you can also also watch reserve and colts teams. And all for a reasonable entry fee as well.
