Whether you are going to see a play, comedy sketch show, or even
the Christmas Panto, the Marston Vale Line is within easy reach of
key theatres in the area. Below are details of the theatres close
to our stations.
Bedford Corn Exchange
The Bedford
Corn Exchange is a multi-purpose venue which hosts a variety of
events. As well as theatre productions, users can look forward to
seeing comedy acts, singers, and concerts, as well as many civic
events. The Corn Exchange is also home to the Philharmonic
Orchestra, who perform there around 8 times a year. Recent acts
that have graced the stage include Lenny Henry, Elkie Brooks, Mike
Reid, Jethro, and Kenn Dodd.

Leave via the town centre exit. Head across the car park, and
turn left at the car park entrance onto Melbourne Street. At the
end of the road, head left along Kingsway. Cross over at the
traffic lights, and head right down Cauldwell Street. Head left at
the end of the road, and head along St Mary's Street. Cross the
bridge, and follow the road around the left. Follow the road around
the right, and the Corn Exchange is ahead.
Milton Keynes Theatre
Milton Keynes Theatre is a state of the art building,
with the most technically advanced equipment available. Designed by
architects Blonski-Heard, the new theatre accommodates a vast range
of productions, from large-scale West End musicals, to smaller,
more intimate drama. The auditorium ceiling has been carefully
designed to accommodate various shows and can be lowered or raised
depending on the scale of the production. The seating can also be
moved around within the auditorium to vary the capacity from
between 900 and 1,400.

University of Bedfordshire Theatre
The theatre at the University of Bedfordshire is a hidden gem for
those of you with a passion for leading edge theatre and dance. The
280-seat auditorium provides an excellent facility for lovers of
the performing arts.
