Water Sports
With many of the former quarries being filled in, as well as the
extensive parks of Milton Keynes, there are ample opportunities for
water sports in the Marston Vale. Below are just a couple of places
where you can hone your skills on the water.
Brogborough Lake
Brogborough Lake
is one of the few large lakes in the country (220 acres) that is
totally dedicated to windsurfing. No other craft are allowed on the
lake with the exception of the rescue boat, and a few kayaks on
windless days. The club that uses the lake has a thriving
membership and always has vacancies for anyone who wants to join.
There is also teaching from instructors, and board hire is
available.
