An ‘eggsciting’ time is in prospect on the Marston Vale Line on Wednesday 4th April as the Easter Eggspress rolls into town! Easter Eggspress trains depart from Bletchley at 2:01 and 3:47.
Join the Easter Eggspress at Bletchley, Fenny Stratford or any of the stations served by the Marston Vale Line. There is no additional fee for the special Easter Eggspress and no need to book, just turn up!
All children in Easter bonnets or headwear will receive an Easter prize on the train.
The train will be decorated in an Easter theme, and a free face painter and balloon modeler will be on board to keep everybody entertained during the journey through the heart of the picturesque Marston Vale. Refreshments will also be on sale.

For an extra ‘eggsciting’ day why not combine the Easter Eggspress with a visit to the Easter Egg Hunt at Bunyan Museum in Mill Street, Bedford? Hunt for the letters on Easter eggs hidden around the Museum, re-arrange to reveal a mystery word and win a chocolate egg prize! Free entry!
The Museum is open from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. so you could either call in before the Easter Eggspress or on arrival atBedfordand return on a later train. (tickets are valid on any train during the day).
Normal train fares apply. The adult cheap day return fare between Bletchley and Bedford is just £6.20 with children between 5 and 15 traveling at £3.10. If you are travelling in a group of friends or family the Marston Vale Line is even better value with the GroupSave ticket through which 3 or 4 adults can travel for the price of 2 with up to 4 children traveling with the group for just £1 each – under 5s go free.
