Drinks
The Marston Vale provides
quick and easy access to many pubs and local drinking
establishments. So, whether you want a quiet pint in a country
club, or fancy a night out in a bustling city centre bar, we can
provide you with quick and easy access to it.
We are hoping to produce a list of local pubs that are within easy
reach of the Marston Vale Line, which we hope to put on this site
soon. In the meantime, the local branches of the Campaign for Real
Ale (CAMRA) have lists of local pubs, including locations where
real ale is sold. More information is given below.
CAMRA campaigns for real ale, real pubs and consumer rights. They
are an independent, voluntary organisation with over 85,000 members
and have been described as the most successful consumer group in
Europe. CAMRA promotes good-quality real ale and pubs, as well as
acting as the consumer's champion in relation to the UK and
European beer and drinks industry.
Milton Keynes and North Buckinghamshire CAMRA
The Milton Keynes and North Buckinghamshire
branch covers the Milton Keynes area, which is all stations
between Aspley Guise and Bletchley. As well as recommending local
pubs, the branch also hosts events, and nominates its own pub of
the year.
North Bedfordshire CAMRA
The North Bedfordshire
branch covers the area between Ridgmont and Bedford stations.
As well as recommending local pubs, the branch also hosts events,
and nominates its own pub of the year.
