Between 8th and 16th September, a series of guided walks will take place across Bedfordshire, with the intention of getting you out and about, and enjoying the countryside. These range from strolls of a couple of miles, to 2-day hikes, so there is something for everyone.
There are, of course, walks accessible from our line too. Our highly recommended ones are:
- Saturday 8th September – The Bedford to Bletchley Rail Users Association’s Railway Ramble. Starts at Ridgmont station at 1:30pm.
- Monday 10th September – A 4 mile walk to discover the hidden gems of Bedford. Starts at Church Square in Bedford at 6:30pm.
- Thursday 13th September – The Three Hills Circular Walk. Starts at Ridgmont station at 1:30pm.
- Saturday 15th September – A 4 mile walk to discover about the work at Ridgmont Station, and plans for the Bedford to Milton Keynes Waterway. Starts at Ridgmont station at 10:30am.
A full programme of all the walks can be found on the Bedfordshire Walking Festival website. Check out some of the other walks!
