Although many
follow the tourist trail to the famous Woburn Abbey, the village of
Woburn is a hidden gem and well worth a visit.
Did you know that the village of Woburn has two churches? The
“new” church, built in 1868, is the parish church; the
old church is now a museum and tourist information point. Did you
know Woburn has a Flower Shop, a China Shop, a specialist
Needlework shop, a tailors, a bridal shop, a hairdresser, a toy
shop, two gift shops, an art gallery, two antique emporiums, an
estate agent and a village store and post office, plus one tea
shop, two hotels, four pubs and five restaurants? All in a
beautiful Georgian setting.
