The Marston Vale Line provides access to a whole host of job
opportunities in both major employment sites, and in major towns.
For some, however, attempting to find a job can be difficult. Below
is a list of local organisations who will help you to find work.

Jobcentre Plus
Jobcentre Plus
are the people who you are most likely to visit to find work. As a
Government agency, they will assist you in not just finding work,
but also helping you with financial assistance until you start
employment. The majority of local employers advertise for
employment at their centres.
The Marston Vale Line provides access to two Jobcentre Plus
office's. The Bedford office serves the Bedford and the Northern
Bedfordshire area, while the Milton Keynes office serves the Milton
Keynes area. The Bedford office is within walking distance of
Bedford station, and the Milton Keynes office can be
accessed by bus from Bletchley station. Directions are given
below.

2. Plan your train journey and buy tickets – You can
check the train times and buy tickets using the Quick Times and
Tickets box to the right. The nearest stations are Bedford and
Bletchley.
3. Plan your onward journey from the station – Walking
directions to the Bedford office are given below. You can also plan
your bus journey from Bletchley to the Milton Keynes office using
the below journey planner.
Directions to Jobcentre Plus Bedford (walking): Get off at
Bedford station. Head left up Ashburnham Road. At the top of the
road, head right along Bromham Road. The office is ahead on the
left. Walking time: 10 minutes.
Connexions
Connexions
is the one-stop shop for young people aged between 13 and 19 years
old not only to find employment, but also to provide guidance in
many other areas too. If you want to find a job, a college course,
want advice on housing, money, and even relationships, then
Connexions can help you, and provide advice so that you can get to
where you want to go in life. If you are registered disabled, and
are aged between 13 and 25 years old, they can also provide you
with assistance.
There are two Connexions offices served by the Marston Vale Line.
The Bedford office is not too far away from Bedford station,
and provides all the Connexions services. The Milton Keynes offices
also offer these services. The Milton Keynes offices can be
accessed by bus from Bletchley. These offices are in the
Milton Keynes PlusBus area.

Bedford office, get off the train at Bedford station. Head left up
