The train service also runs in close proximity to two key NHS
Hospitals in Milton Keynes and Bedford. Residents living close to
the line therefore have easy access to these key medical
facilities, whether they be visiting or a patient themselves. These

Bedford Hospital
Bedford Hospital is the
closest of the hospitals to the Marston Vale Line, with the South
Wing being just a few minutes walk from Bedford St Johns station.
The hospital is split into two sites. The South Wing provides most
services, including the Accident and Emergency department. The

Directions to Bedford Hospital South Wing: Get off at
Bedford St Johns station. Walk up the steps, and turn right. At the
traffic lights, head right again. The entrance is on the left. For
step-free access, leave the station via the town centre exit, and
head across the car park. Head left at the car park entrance, then
left again at the end of the road, walking along Kingsway. Follow
the path around the corner to the left, following Cauldwell Street.
Head left at the second set of traffic lights onto Britannia Road.
The hospital is on the right near the pedestrian crossing.
