Officer's Blog
Hi there, my name is
Stephen Sleight, and I am the Community Rail Officer for the
Marston Vale Line. I work 20 hours a week on behalf of the
Community Rail Partnership to improve the rail service for
all.
I am based at Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity in
Cardington, where I have worked as the Rural Transport Officer
since 1999. My work as Rural Transport Officer blends very well
with my work as the Community Rail Officer, which takes up the rest
of my week.
Through this Blog, I hope to give you an insight into the work
that I do. I am a bit busy, so I will keep this Blog updated
whenever I can. If you do have any comments on any of the work that
I do, then feel free to e-mail me at
. I look forward to hearing from
you.
August 2008
In my second monthly blog, I give a few more updates on the work
of the Partnership. There are more Special Services planned for
the line, as well as some very good news on Ridgmont station and
this website! As usual, if you find it difficult to hear what I have
to say, or cannot view the video, simply follow the below link to
see a text version.
