Our Work
Any Community Rail
Partnership worth it's salt is defined by the work that it does to
benefit passengers. And don't worry, we aren't found wanting in the
work that we do! We are involved in a wide variety of projects,
ranging from more major projects to the relatively minor
ones.
This section of the website gives you some information on some of
the more major pieces of work that we are involved in. Simply click
on one of the links above for more information. We are also
involved in the Marston
Vale Hidden Britain initiative, which has a number of projects
planned.
Community Rail Partnership Officer
The vast majority of our work is undertaken by Stephen Sleight,
our dedicated Community Rail Partnership Officer. Working 20 hours
a week, and based at the Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity's
offices in Cardington, Stephen has a busy time delivering the work
of the Community Rail Partnership, much of it started by the
previous officer, Eileen Moore. Although he is helped out by
others! You can find out more about the work Stephen does by
looking at the Officer's
Blog section.
