We finally did it. Yesterday, Ridgmont Station Building finally opened it’s doors yesterday. As with everything, there were a few last minute issues with various things, but the day went well and we received a good number of visitors. Thank you to everyone who popped in.
I did manage to take a few snaps before the doors opened. I went back to take pictures later, but my camera died and so we are waiting for more pictures that will be posted up at a later time. In the meantime…
It also caused quite a lot of discussion on social media as well.
@marstonvalecrp newly restored Ridgmont Station Building looks good. Café now open for sandwiches, tea, coffee & cakes!

I want to go to Ridgmont station cafe on @marstonvalecrp‘s line. Might have to be a festive treat later this month

Great to see Ridgmont station open its building today. Well done @marstonvalecrp; thrilled to see the Marston Vale line thriving.
