Santa and elf at Bedford 2

We all know that jolly old Saint Nick is a busy person this year. But thankfully, he has found time in his hectic schedule to come and pay the Marston Vale Line a visit this year.

We thought we’d do things a little different this year, as we are setting up a special Santa’s Grotto at Lidlington Church Hall on Saturday 15th December. As well as getting the chance to see Santa, there will be all sorts of other things going on, including a face painter, balloon modeller, stalls, a model railway (always popular) and of course refreshments. Entry is completely free, and there is no need to book.

The fun takes place between 10:30am and 3:30pm, and of course we urge you to take the train. The hall is just a short walk from Lidlington station. The train fare needn’t cost the Earth either – ask for Groupsave and up to 4 adults can travel for the price of 2, and up to 4 kids travel for £1. Trains will run all day, and you can find out train times from your local station by downloading the timetable.

We should, of course, give a shout to our pals at the Friends of Lidlington Station who are kindly helping us out on the day.
