We’re back, and as we fast approach the festive time of year we’re keeping up the blogging goodness by showing you what can be done on your local line this weekend.

As is customary, we start in Bedford, and the crafty among you should head over to Priory Marina for 2pm. Here, in a 2 hour workshop you get the chance to make your own Christmas Wreath using natural materials. All materials are provided, and there is a charge for taking part. The nearest station is Bedford St Johns.

We also have a special event that we are attending tomorrow at the Corn Exchange. Find out more here.

Heading down the line you come to an often-overlooked station at Stewartby. Here, at Stewartby Village Hall, the Stewartby Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society are putting on a special showing of The Gondolier. Curtain-up is at 7:30pm, with bookings being taken in advance. The show is taking place at Stewartby Village Hall, a short walk from Stewartby station.

Coming to Milton Keynes now, and the real action is taking place at stadium:MK. Milton Keynes Dons are looking to get their league campaign back on track by hosting Colchester United. Kick off is at 3pm. The nearest station is Fenny Stratford.

That’s it for this week. As always, there are plenty of Days Out along the line for you to enjoy, so go and check them out.
