Bikes are accepted on Marston Vale Line trains at all times. The single-carriage trains have spaces for 2 bikes at one end of the train (denoted on the outside by the cycle logo). The two-carriage trains have tip-up seats where you can store your bike. Bikes can also be stored in the doorways with the permission of the conductor.
Both Bedford and Bletchley stations have cycle parking that is sheltered and covered by CCTV. So long as you bring your own lock you can park your bike securely at these stations.
Onward connections and your bicycle
If you are travelling beyond Bedford or Bletchley, there are some restrictions on when you can take full-sized bikes on trains. Please consult the National Rail Cycle Policy, and the policies of individual train operators (below) for more information.
Use the Transport Direct Cycle Journey Planner to plan your route to the station.
