Bedford and Bletchley stations provide the Marston Vale Line with links to the National Rail network.
First Capital Connect provides the majority of services from Bedford, it being the northern terminus on their Thameslink route. Trains run roughly every 15 minutes to places such as Flitwick, Luton, Luton Airport Parkway, St Albans, London (St Pancras International, Farringdon, City Thameslink, Blackfriars, and East Croydon), Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Ashford International, and Sevenoaks.
East Midlands Trains operates high speed intercity services between the East Midlands and London, calling at Bedford. As well as providing a fast service to London (St Pancras International), services head north of Bedford to Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Market Harborough, Leicester, Loughborough, and Nottingham. These services run every half hour, with one northbound train per hour heading to Corby, and the other heading to Leicester and Nottingham.
London Midland operates the majority of services from Bletchley, running 3 trains per hour from the station. These services head south to London (Euston), calling at places such as Leighton Buzzard, Berkhamsted, and Watford Junction. In the northbound direction, all trains head to Milton Keynes Central, with some continuing further to places such as Wolverton, Northampton, Rugby, Coventry, Birmingham International, and Birmingham New Street.
Southern provides an hourly service from Bletchley. Heading south, services call at places such as Leighton Buzzard, Berkhamsted, Watford Junction, and then into London serving stations including Kensington Olympia, Shepherd’s Bush, Clapham Junction, and East Croydon. This service also runs north to Milton Keynes Central.
