Introduction
This lovely ride through the Ouse Valley visits several delightful
limestone villages and offers splendid views over the River
Ouse.
Start/Finish Point

Access and General Information
Length: 26 miles
Directions
This ride can begin from Bedford, or from the Bromham Mill car
park. Leave Bedford station, and turn right up Ashburnham Road. At
the double mini roundabout, turn left and take the A428 westwards;
1½ miles of the 2 mile journey to Bromham is by a cycleway
on the north side of the A428.
Leaving the car park at Bromham Mill, turn right, then right again
after ¼ mile into Bromham village. Cycle through the village
and after 1½ miles turn right to Oakley, passing over the
bridges spanning the River Ouse. Bear left at the junction and
follow the road through the village, eventually coming to a
crossroads. Turn left to Pavenham, a distance of 2 miles.
If you wish to take the ten mile ride, keep straight on through
Pavenham, following the signs to Stevington. For the sixteen mile
trip, turn right in Pavenham, and follow the signposts to
Felmersham. Turn right at the T-junction and left at the next. Take
the next turn to Carlton.
Turn left at the crossroads in Carlton, signposted to Stevington.
At the next junction turn right to Stevington. Cycle through
Stevington and back to Bromham, turning left at the main road to
arrive at the mill
