Introduction
The River Great Ouse is 200 miles in length, from its source near
Buckingham, to King's Lynn where it enters The Wash. The route
passes by the Marston Vale Line in Bedford, from where you can go
as far as Stevington and Sandy.
Start/Finish Point
Town Bridge, Bedford. The nearest station is Bedford St Johns. Exit
via the town centre exit. Head diagonally across the car park, and
head left along Melbourne Street. Head on the cycle path to the
left next to Kingsway. Cross over the traffic lights, and head down
the path between County Hall and Cauldwell Street. At the
riverside, head right. The bridge is ahead of you.
