During 2007, Milton Keynes launched the first three Heritage Cycle Trails that allow visitors to take in a different view of the city. Milton Keynes has a system of redways which extend nearly 300kms around the city's parks, lakes and rivers. The Heritage Cycle Trails all start from Willen Lake but can be joined at any point on the route. They explore some of the interesting outdoor areas that Milton Keynes has to offer including pretty villages, sculptures, historic buildings and loads more.

The Millennium Circuit was created and using the map and route instructions you can spend a wonderful day sampling some of the City's highlights and some of the best parks managed by the Parks Trust. There is also the option of dividing the route into two smaller circuits, north and south by the link shown on the map through Campbell Park and the City centre and down to the railway centre. Along the way you will find a number of informative panels explaining local history and points of interest.
