The walks associated to this leaflet (there are four: Fenny Stratford Circular Walk, Stewartby to Millbrook walk via Stewartby Lake, Bow Brickhill Circular Walk, Ridgmont 'Clay Way' Circular Walk) are suggestions, suitable for most ages, but not advisable with pushchairs. The length of the walks is generally between 1 and 2 hours, depending on stops made at places of interest. These walks all begin and end at stations on the Marston Vale rail line.

Start/Finish Point

This circular route starts from Bow Brickhill station. You can buy tickets to Bow Brickhill on our website.

Access and General Information

Length: 3.5 miles

Directions

Leaving platform 1 at Bow Brickhill station turn right into Brickhill Street and then across the road at the mini roundabout, heading towards Bletchley for a short distance before turning left along a footpath towards the woods.

To the left of the path are grazing fields and the path leads between houses into Greenways Road. Bear right and regain the path heading straight ahead towards the woods and heath. Follow the bridleway for a short distance before taking a path to the left, into the woods.

Several options are available through the woods, working your way eastwards (to your left) towards the summit. Where pathways cross, take a track to the left and turn right at the next point where pathways join. The golf course is to your right as the path leads to the attractive Bow Brickhill parish church, All Saints.

The path continues to the right of the church and then bears left onto a minor road. Proceed down the hill until you reach a signposted bridleway on the right. This leads into Aspley Woods. Bear left down along the edge of the woods towards Bow Brickhill village and then left over a style where the path leads along the edge of a grassed field. The footpath leads into Parkway.

At the bottom of this road turn left into Bow Brickhill Road which bears right into Station Road. Continue west along Station Road, past the Wheatsheaf Public House and back to Bow Brickhill Station
