This is a quick post to let everybody that after what seemed like an age out of service, the Marston Vale Line trains are back and running again to their normal timetable! Unfortunately, the works lasted for much longer than we planned, but they are done now, and we are back to full strength.
The works that have been done will mean that there are no operational reasons why our trains cannot turn around and run to Milton Keynes – capacity allowing of course. We will be hard at work over the next few months to see if we can get such a service to run, so hopefully you will hear more from us on this soon.
Also, in case you missed it, following the recent reliability issues, season ticket holders are entitled to claim some free travel, up to 5 free tickets allowing you to travel on the London Midland network. These tickets can be worth up to a combined £500! Whilst its no substitute for a good, reliable train service, its definately worth taking up if you can.
