We have one of Bedford’s big events on during this week. But more on that later on this week. In the meantime, here’s what else is on.

Starting on Wednesday, and lasting all week, there is a special photographic exhibition called Between Here and There. This Exhibition brings together artists whose work explores environments as a testament to our presence, existence, identity and our place in society. It is completely free, and lasts from 10am to 3pm each day. The nearest station to this event, being held at Redwing House, is Bow Brickhill, a bus ride or cycle ride away.
Heading into Thursday, and its best to get to Bedford School at lunchtime for one of their regular Lunchtime Concerts. This is a great chance to enjoy a diverse selection of works in beautiful surroundings. It’s completely free, and it all starts at 1pm. Bedford School is within walking distance of Bedford station.
There are a few things on across the line on Saturday. The Bedford Kite Festival and the Forties Family Fun Festival at Bletchley Park we will give more info on tomorrow (now online), just to keep you hanging! Otherwise, you can the Faith Woodlands Communities Farewell Event over at Priory Country Park in Bedford. Hear the many testimonies regarding the project with a yoga session, woodcarving exhibition and a performance from a local choir. It’s free and lasts from 2pm to 3:30pm. The nearest station to Priory Country Park is Bedford, a bus ride away, or you can cycle from Bedford St Johns.
And that’s about it for this week. Until next time!
