After an illness-enforced break last week, we are back with all the events taking place this week on the line. Let’s get cracking.
Just a bit of advanced warning, this week will be posting about some special opening hours for Ridgmont Station Building Tea Rooms, and our forthcoming Santa Special! Also, next week we will be holding a special event at the Forest Centre. More on that later this week…
On Monday, the Forest Centre continues it’s Learning Lunch series with The Myths of Cruising. Moira Townsend from Cruise Select, dispels the myths about travelling the world on a cruise, and gives tips whether you’re looking to book a relaxing break, or the holiday of a lifetime. It starts at 11am and is free to attend. Later on, the Marston Vale Trust is having it’s AGM starting at 5:30pm. It’s a chance to meet trustees, volunteers and staff and hear about what’s been happening and what’s planned in the Forest of Marston Vale. The Forest Centre is a walk or cycle from Millbrook station.
You can tell it’s coming up to the festive season, as on Saturday there is a Christmas Fayre taking place at St Martin’s Church in Bedford. There will be many Stalls, Raffles, Bric-a-brac, cakes, Christmas cards, and refreshments all afternoon. It starts at 2pm and entry is free. The church is within walking distance of Bedford station.
Also on Saturday, MK Dons host Bradford City in League Two. Kick off is at 3pm, and the usual ticket prices apply. stadium:MK is within walking distance of Fenny Stratford station.
