Concert BandEven though its summer, there really isn’t a lot on this week. That probably explained why this took such a short time to write. Anyway, without further ado…

On Monday, Bedford School has a welcome addition to its usual programme of concerts, as the students have organised a Recital of Wind Music. Sean Davies (horn) and James Evans (saxophone) will present this particular recital, which starts at 7:30pm and is completely free. The nearest station is Bedford, which is within walking distance.

Wednesday sees the latest in Bedford School‘s series of Summer Concerts, of which there are 3 this week. Today’s is the Second Orchestra Concert, and starts at 7:30pm and is completely free to enter. The nearest station is Bedford, which is within walking distance.

On ThursdayBedford School continues its series of Summer Concerts. Today’s is the Bedford Prep School Summer Concert, starting at 7:30pm and is completely free to enter. The nearest station is Bedford, which is within walking distance.

Starting today, and going on until Saturday (well, Sunday, but our services don’t run then!), there is a Motor Show taking place at thecentre:MK. Whether you are a budding Clarkson or a Sunday Driver, there will be something to interest you. It takes place all day, and thecentre:MK is a bus ride from Milton Keynes Central station.

On FridayBedford School‘s series of Summer Concerts continues. Today’s is the Solo Prize Winners Concert, which starts at 7:30pm and is completely free to enter. Before that, you can alos pop along to the Lunchtime Concert, starting at 1pm and is completely free. Today’s is presented by the President of the Music Society. For both concerts, the nearest station is Bedford, which is within walking distance.

On Saturday, you have the chance to learn about a new sport, as The Parks Trust have a special session of Field Archery between 10am and Midday. This will include a talk on the sport, and a tour around the course. This event is taking place at Hazeley Wood, which is a bus ride from Milton Keynes Central station.

As if that wasn’t enough, The Stables are again putting on a variety of performances today. Performances include Charlie Wood and the New Memphis Underground and Classical Kicks, tickets for which you can buy online in advance. The Stables is within walking distance of Woburn Sands station.
