Passengers using Woburn Sands station may notice that the Bedford-bound platform is a little bit brighter nowadays, and that’s because a brand new mural now adorns it!

Created by children from Fulbrook Middle School, the theme of the mural is Woburn Sands from the train window. It shows all the different areas of Woburn Sands through, shockingly enough, a train window. And we think it looks absolutely fantastic.

Last Friday (17th May) was the big reveal, and we were down there to help out. Here are a few of the pictures snapped by Malcolm Burgoyne of the Bedford to Bletchley Rail Users Association. Thank you Malcolm for letting us use these, and thank you to everybody who popped down to see us. And finally thanks to everybody who pitched in with the project. It looks wonderful!
