RMT and ASLEF Industrial Action – Wednesday 27th July & Saturday 30th July

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) has announced its intention to stage strike action across several train companies, including London Northwestern Railway (LNR) on Wednesday 27 July 2022.

There will be no Marston Vale Line services on Wednesday 27^th July.

The morning services on Thursday 28^th July will start later due to the knock-on affect of the industrial action. The fist services of the day will be as follows:

Bletchley – Bedford 08.01
Bedford – Bletchley 08.48

There will also be no services on the Abbey Line (Watford Junction – St Albans Abbey) on Wednesday 27^th July and only a limited service between London Euston & Northampton. LNR advise passengers to only travel during this time if your journey is essential and you have no other means of transport available.

Separately, the Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) has announced its members intend to stage strike action impacting LNR on Saturday 30^th July 2022.

As a result there will be no Marston Vale Line services on Saturday 30^th July and no services on other LNR routes.

No Rail Replacement Bus Service will be provided on the Marston Vale Line on strike days.

RMT members also intend to strike on Thursday 18 August 2022 and Saturday 20 August 2022.
