ASLEF & RMT Industrial Action in October

The Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) has announced its members intend to stage strike action impacting London Northwestern Railway on Saturday 1^st and Wednesday 5^th October 2022.

Additionally, the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) has announced its members intend to strike on Saturday 1^st and Saturday 8^th October 2022.

There will be no Marston Vale Line services on the following dates:

Saturday 1st October
Wednesday 5th October
Saturday 8th October

The morning services on Thursday 6^th October may start later due to the knock-on effect of the industrial action. The fist services of the day are likely to be as follows:

Bletchley – Bedford 08.01
Bedford – Bletchley 08.48

There will be no London Northwestern Railway services on Saturday 1^st October or Wednesday 5^th October.

A significantly reduced timetable will operate on the following routes on Saturday 8^th October (between 07:30 and 18:30 only):

Birmingham New Street – Wolverhampton via local stations, and Birmingham New Street – Crewe
Birmingham New Street – Birmingham International, Coventry – Northampton and Northampton – London

No Rail Replacement Bus Service will be provided on the Marston Vale Line on strike days.
