A special competition has been launched to name your very own train on the Marston Vale Line to celebrate the return of full timetable.
Open to all age groups, we are looking for suggestions which celebrate people and places along the Marston Vale Line.
Entries can be made here or by completing a submission form at Ridgmont Station Heritage Centre.
The contest winner will be invited to attend the Official Naming Ceremony at Bletchley Station.
Closing date for entries is Monday 4th March.
Terms and conditions
- Anyone can enter the competition. However, there is a maximum of one entry per person.
- The date and time of the Official Naming Ceremony will be decided by London Northwestern Railway.
- Selection of the winning entry will be made by a panel from London Northwestern and the Marston Vale Community Partnership.
- Any entries which are deemed inappropriate in language or nature will be removed from the competition.
- If more than one submission of the winning name is received, entrants will be submitted into a draw.
- Any entries on behalf of a child must be submitted by a parent or guardian.
