Passengers arriving at Bedford Station on Monday 19th December were entertained by a selection of carols and Christmas music by Bedford Choral Society. A team from Marston Vale CRP, Beds & Herts CRP and Thameslink were busy collecting food and cash donations for Bedford Foodbank during the concert. Thanks to passengers for their generous donations – over £300 was raised!
There is more festive music on Tuesday 20th December when special guests Chasing Deer will be playing between 4:00 and 6:00pm and on Wednesday 21st December when local Opus 18 Community Choir will be performing from 5:00 to 6:00pm. Food and cash donations for Bedford Foodbank will be collected during both concerts.
Can’t get to the station at these times? Food donations can be left with the gate line staff until 10:30am on Thursday 21st December, but not cash. Instead, you can donate directly to the Bedford Food Bank.
