The consultation period over the proposed closure of Ticket Offices across the country has been extended until Friday 1st September 2023.
Passengers who have already responded do not need to do so again, as all responses received so far will be valid.
London Northwestern Railway (LNR) propose to close a number of Ticket offices including at Bletchley and Leighton Buzzard.
LNR propose to create a new role for staff in mobile teams who will be deployed on a flexible basis to undertake customer service, passenger assistance, safety and general upkeep duties.

Greater Thameslink Railway (GTR) propose to close all Ticket Offices between Bedford and London St Pancras with the exception of Bedford, Luton Airport Parkway, St Albans City and London St Pancras. However, these Ticket Offices would be closed for routine usage and passengers directed to a Ticket Vending Machine.
GTR propose to create a new role of Ticketing Assistance based on station concourses.

Marston Vale CRP realise that this will impact on the way in which people can get help in buying the cheapest & most convenient tickets and the availability of facilities at stations.
