The Rail Delivery Group launched a consultation over the closure of Ticket Offices across the country on 5th July.
London Northwestern Railway (LNR) propose to close a number of Ticket offices including at Bletchley and Leighton Buzzard.
LNR propose to create a new role for staff in mobile teams who will be deployed on a flexible basis to undertake customer service, passenger assistance, safety and general upkeep duties.

Greater Thameslink Railway (GTR) propose to close all Ticket Offices between Bedford and London St Pancras with the exception of Bedford, Luton Airport Parkway, St Albans City and London St Pancras.
GTR propose to create a new role of Ticketing Assistance based on station concourses.

Marston Vale CRP realise that this will impact on the way in which people can get help in buying appropriate tickets and the availability of facilities at stations.
