A special Kimberley College Rail Replacement service will be running from Wednesday 2 September for which the timetable has just been received.
Bus times
One service departs from the forecourt at Bedford Midland at 08:05 calling at Bedford St Johns (Rail Replacement Bus Stop in the Melbourne Street car park – adjacent to the station entrance & the cycle shelter) at 08:10 arriving Kimberley College at 08.25.
There is also another service from Bedford St Johns departing at 08.05 arriving at the College at 08.20.
Both routes are operated by double deckers, and are private services available to College students only, so will not be in journey planner systems.
Students are asked to purchase rail tickets before travel (the best option is a London Northwestern Railway Student Season ticket) and to wear a face covering whilst travelling.
Return trains from Stewartby
There is a return train from Stewartby at 15:31 arriving at Bedford at 15:48
It is anticipated the rail timetable will be revised later in the term to enable students to travel by train from Bedford to Stewartby; part of the next increase in the number of rail services on the Marston Vale Line.
