We’re pleased to announce that Ridgmont Station Heritage Centre re-opens on 9 July!
We have been busy doing a COVID-19 risk assessment to ensure the building is safe for staff, volunteers and visitors.
As you might expect there are a few changes.
New opening hours will be Thursday to Saturday 12:00 – 4:00.
The Tea Room will initially be bookings only (with a 2-hour limit per table to account for the reduced number of covers). Call 01525 287120.
Outside seating is available.
The take away service will continue. Please book by 3:00 the day before for both the Tea Room & take away.
The Gift Shop and Original Victorian Booking Office (museum) will be open at the same time as the Tea Room. Please call 01525 287121 to check we are open before travelling.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to accept payment by credit or debit cards in the Tea Room & Gift Shop.
We’re looking for volunteers join the Friends of Ridgmont Station who provide tours of the museum, serve in the Gift Shop, maintain the station garden, research & plan exhibitions and help in a variety of other ways too!
