Train services have been suspended until further notice due to a shortage of train crew.
In addition to staff absence due to COVID-19, London Northwestern Railway has also experienced significant disruption to driver training programmes due to it not being possible to maintain social distance in a train cab. This has had a direct impact on the number of available train drivers with the necessary route and traction knowledge.
There will be an all stations and limited stop rail replacement bus service covering all of the train services.
The 07:14 limited stop bus from Bedford on Mondays to Fridays has been retimed to 7:06 in response to passenger feedback for a connection to a service from Bletchley to Leighton Buzzard for school pupils.
Kimberley College
Additional dedicated services are running for Kimberley College students from Monday 15th March.
London Northwestern Railway has introduced an Extended Summer Term Season Ticket for students returning to school or college in March. This ticket is valid from 8th March to 31st July 2021, and is priced at the usual termly rate, giving you the remaining Spring term travel for free! Please buy train tickets from the Ticket Vending Machines at stations (card only), any staffed rail station or online before travel. The Rail Replacement Bus drivers are unable to issue train tickets.
