Train services will resume on Monday 24 August initially at peak times (three journeys each way in the morning and three in the evening) supplemented by a Rail Replacement Bus Service during the rest of the day.
It is planned to gradually increase the number of train services over the autumn.
Network Rail is in the process of upgrading the level crossing at Green Lane, Stewartby from half barrier to full barrier.
Rail Replacement Buses will be unable to call at the usual stop at Stewartby from 10pm on Saturday 22 August until 6am on Monday 31 August, and will use the bus stop at Stewartby Village Hall during this period. The bus timetable will remain the same with the bus will waiting an extra 5 minutes at the Village Hall. The station remains accessible by foot during the works.
